Here you can spend a full day tracing the history of the most popular media of the past 100 years – something which has transformed all our lives. At Thornton, not far from Bradford, there’s one of two great literary attractions; the Bronte Birthplace, where Charlotte, Branwell, Emily and Anne Bronte were born, and the Bronte Parsonage Museum in Haworth where the family lived from 1820-1861. This is the house where Jane Eyre and other novels were written.
